Quality Standards and Certifications

The waste and recycling container manufacture is inspected every year from scratch by an independent institute, e.g. SKZ Würzburg. In addition, the specified in-house monitoring of manufacturing and materials must be conducted on an ongoing basis. This guarantees a consistently high quality level. New developments are also reliably checked for quality and serviceability.

Drop test

A container filled with a 100 kg weight is dropped from a 3 metre height multiple times in free fall on a level, rigid impact surface straight or on the front edge.

Wheel gear test

The wheel gear of a container filled with 150 kg is run continuously for 24 hours on a special rig. This is equivalent to a running distance of approx. 100 km.

Ball impact test

A steel cylinder with a weight of 5 kg drops multiple times at -20°C from a height of 1 m (specifications according to EN 840 just 0.8 m) via a cylindrical guide precisely on edges, hinges and other delicate points on the container.

Kerbstone/step travel test

A container filled with 150 kg of weight impacts 1,000 times, from a height of 180 mm on to a level, rigid surface. This means that the running gear sustains repeated blows on the wheels and axles.

Wetting agent bath test

To check for the formation of cracks due to tensions, the containers are submerged in a wetting agent bath (volume proportion of 2-3%) for a test duration of 48 hours at 70°C.

Heated storage

The containers are stored upright and without load in a convection oven at 90-95°C for 3 days. The dimensional changes which occur due to the heated storage must be no more than plus 1.5% and must remain within the tolerances specified for the container.

100% new material - 100% quality

In the manufacture of containers, only the best raw materials from reputable suppliers are used. Only 100% new material is used here – no recycled materials. This means that we are able to keep our promises and ensure a long, fault-free service life.
