Within a construction period of only ten months, SSI Schäfer as the general contractor completed a fully automatic high bay warehouse including roller and chain conveyors for HAGO, automotive-supplier from Baden.

The integration of the production areas into overall logistics was among the special challenges of this project:

The exchange of molding tools in the production area, for instance, was taken into consideration with regard to the overall conceptual design - tools that are not needed are stored fully automatically or, if not necessary, transported automatically to the relevant production areas.

The high degree of automation of the entire project resulted in an enormous gain in production.
